Do you know that the HELICOPTER is called many names? In its early stages it was called a ROTORCRAFT or a WHIRLY BIRD. Then the military guys called it a CHOPPER. The Brits terms it a HELO. If you want to be more technical, then it is a V/TOL Aircraft -- VERTICAL TAKE OFF & LANDING Aircraft that falls under the ROTARY WING category. Very interesting isn't it?
Oh I forgot, here in Philippines we call it TUTUBI (dragonfly).
