FLIGHT ATTENDANT (FA) -- One of the most glamorous sought after job by adventure seeking girls. I read somewhere that it's not only a pleasing personality and height that qualifies one to become an FA. You need to be a college graduate with good oral communicative skills. Most important is to undertake and pass a very rigid training program. You must be a good swimmer as well. Many FA's worldwide were awarded for displaying heroic deeds during emergency situations while on flight. Their exemplary courage and presence of mind during high-jacking or critical emergency situations have been recorded many many times. Some even gave up their lives in the process of doing their job. So, behind that beautiful face and impressive airline uniform is an alert and well trained tough cookie. I wish I was one.
